Easter is just around the corner, and we’ve got a cracking line-up of food, drinks, and a warm village welcome waiting for you at The Rose & Crown. Whether you’re joining us for a family feast or a sunny pint in the garden, here is when you can find us:
Good Friday (3rd April) Open: 12:00 – 23:00 Food served: Normal hours
Easter Saturday (4th April) Breakfast is served! Join us in the morning for a proper start to the weekend. Open: 09:00 – 23:00 Food served until 21:00
Easter Sunday (5th April) Food served: 12:00 – 16:00 (Our famous Sunday Roast!) Drinks served until 19:00
Easter Monday (6th April) Food served: 12:00 – 16:00 Drinks served until 19:00

Job Positions:
Kitchen, Bar, and Waiting Staff Availability: Evenings and Weekends (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday) Experience: Preferred but not essential
At The Rose & Crown, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences with a menu that showcases the best of local produce.
As a member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our culinary creations, work behind the bar serving refreshing drinks, and provide outstanding service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes in the kitchen Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas Supporting the kitchen team and bartenders during busy service periods Taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the dining area The rate of pay will depend on your experience, ensuring that your skills are recognized and valued.
What we’re looking for:
A love for food, beverages, and hospitality Previous experience in a kitchen, bar, or waiting role is preferred but not essential Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
